July 10, 2025
On the auspicious occasion of Gurupournima (Ashada Shukla Pournima), the Mruthika Sangrahana Mahotsava was celebrated in a grand and devotional manner at Sri Mutt, Mantralayam.
H.H. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji visited the sacred Tulasi Vana in a grand procession and performed special poojas. He then reverentially collected the sacred Mruthika, which was placed with great sanctity in a Suvarna Pallaki (Golden Palanquin). The Mruthika was brought back to Sri Mutt in a majestic procession accompanied by Vedic chanting and bhajans.
H.H. Sri Swamiji then placed the collected Mruthika in front of Sri Rayaru’s Brindavana and performed Mangalarati. Devotees from Bengaluru and Siruguppa performed Tulabhara Seva to H.H. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji with great devotion.
Later, H.H. Sri Swamiji inaugurated two battery-operated vehicles donated by MS Ramaiah Foundation, Bengaluru. These vehicles are intended to facilitate the movement of elderly devotees, pregnant women, and persons with physical disabilities, enhancing their comfort and accessibility within the Mutt premises.
On this sacred day, lakhs of devotees visited Mantralayam to have darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy and participate in the divine celebrations.
